Puyan Student Animation Festival

Puyan Student Animation Festival is proudly presented by the Animation Scientific Association of the University of Tehran. Beginning with its fifth edition, what was formerly known as Animation Week has evolved into the Puyan Student Animation Festival. Dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging talents in animation, the festival will showcase short student works from across Iran.

Puyan’s Vision

Puyan is more than the record of an event; it is the story of a generation eager to observe, create, and share. We believe that each edition of the festival lays the foundation for those to come, and every work screened is a sign of a brighter future for student animation in Iran. We hope that, year after year, Puyan will grow into a more sustainable platform for dialogue and exchange among different generations of animation artists.
