In the design of the Puyan Festival poster, the central element is rendered as a tall, narrow vertical rectangle. This shape symbolizes the number “one,” representing the festival’s first edition. The rectangle also evokes the viewing aperture of a zoetrope — one of the earliest devices used to create moving images in the history of cinema. The designers built this aperture as a gateway of light and color, inviting the viewer to look into the world of animation from within it. Around this central shape, the festival’s mascot (Puyan the skeleton) appears spinning and dancing, a movement that underscores the concept of dynamism and life.The Concept of Movement in the Puyan Poster Design
This collection of visuals is built around animation, motion, and the concept of movement itself.
