Introducing the Jury of the Puyan Student Short Animation Festival ۲۰۲۵

According to the festival’s public relations office, the members of the Puyan Festival jury have been announced through official appointments from the Puyan secretariat.

Accordingly, Amirmohammad Dehestani, Mahin Javaherian, Dr. Mohammad Fadavi, Hossein Molayemi, Babak Nekooei, and Farrokh Yekdaneh will be responsible for judging the works selected for the festival’s competition section. The presence of these prominent figures on the Puyan Festival jury not only ensures the quality of the final selection, but also lends the event a special artistic credibility. The secretariat chose the jury members from among well-known professors, artists, and specialists in the field of animation — individuals who bring their expert perspective to the festival through valuable professional experience and an outstanding track record.

In this section, the jury evaluates the selected works, with awards presented in the following categories:

• Best Animation, Jury’s Choice
• Best Direction, Jury’s Choice
• Best Animate, Jury’s Choice
• Best Screenplay, Jury’s Choice

Audience Award and Closing Ceremony

During the festival’s student screenings, audiences will also have the chance to choose their favorite works. First-, second-, and third-place winners as voted by the audience will likewise be announced. The secretariat will honor all winners at the festival’s closing ceremony with a festival trophy, a certificate of recognition, and cash prizes.
